Responsibilities

• Own awareness: ensuring every developer and platform team building with AI knows who Shaped is and what we do.
• Write and ship content across various platforms including blog posts, launch copy, social media, and videos.
• Speak "Engineer": hold conversations about cutting-edge technology and create content that resonates with the developer community.
• Execute quickly: post the scrappy version today rather than waiting for the perfect version next quarter.
• Increase website visits, LinkedIn and X followers, and branded search volume for "shaped.ai" on Google.
• Show up in developer-focused communities such as Reddit, Hacker News, and dev.to by posting like a human, not a brand.
• Organize and attend meetups at Shaped's NYC office.
• Create short-form video content for platforms like Reels, Shorts, and TikTok, and long-form video content such as engineer interviews and Shaped tutorials.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in growth, content, or developer marketing (bonus if it was at a technical or AI company).
• Ability to write content and record videos, including blog posts, launch copy, social media, and scripts.
• Fluency in speaking "Engineer": able to have meaningful conversations about cutting-edge technology.
• Genuine interest in the developer community: understands the nuances of why certain marketing strategies work or don't work in developer circles.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills: able to craft compelling content that resonates with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience in creating and executing marketing campaigns that drive engagement and growth.
• Knowledge of SEO and digital marketing best practices to optimize content for search engines.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
