Growth GM
About the Role
Clarity Pediatrics is seeking a Growth GM to lead the company's growth in Texas and build a new market playbook. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience with a consulting background, ideally with health tech startup experience, and a competitive drive to win. The role requires someone who is relentless about growth, energized by ambitious goals, and motivated by seeing their work directly influence business outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Own Texas growth end to end and write the playbook: Bring marketing, inside sales, on-the-ground reps, and MD advisors together into one growth engine for Texas, partnering with marketing on positioning and campaigns.
- Run the experiments and bring back the learnings: Design the tests that answer the questions we have open right now: Dallas vs. Fort Worth, when to add on-the-ground presence, how to sequence Austin.
- Build and drive the team: Coach and push the people running each of those functions, building the team in parallel with building the market itself.
- Win provider and health system relationships: Build and own the relationships with medical advisors and referring providers that get Clarity in the door, and keep pushing until they become real advocates.
Requirements
- 5+ years experience with a consulting background, ideally with health tech startup experience
- Competitive drive to win
- Entrepreneurial, and willing to do whatever it takes
- Healthcare experience required
- Truth-seeking: You build and scale based on the success of each idea, and you are comfortable walking away from your own ideas when they don’t work.
- A builder who wants to lead: You’re ready to do the hands-on work yourself, and you’re ready to build and lead a team.
- A natural relationship builder & communicator
- Thriving in ambiguity and high autonomy
- Preference for Texas-based
- Willing to travel regularly
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of how provider relationships, referral patterns, and payer dynamics actually work. They will be a natural relationship builder and communicator, and be comfortable with a medical director, a health system executive, and a front desk manager in the same day.
Benefits
- Competitive equity package in an early-stage, well-funded company
- Medical, dental, vision, and ancillary benefits
- 401(k)
- Flexible PTO
- Remote-friendly work culture
