Growth & Experimentation Lead

Zurich Cover-More · Michigan, United States · 1 wk ago
Full-time

About the role

As the Growth & Experimentation Manager, you will own the North America growth optimization program across direct-to-consumer websites and key business-partner integrated booking flows for Zurich Cover-More (ZCM). This strategic role sits at the intersection of business strategy, experimentation, and customer experience. You will interpret ZCM’s commercial strategies and translate them into clear experimentation and growth strategies, acting as the central conductor of performance.

You will set direction, align cross-functional teams, and represent ZCM’s optimization philosophy to senior stakeholders at major business partners, ensuring initiatives are both commercially meaningful and customer-centric.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end optimization and growth strategy across the U.S. and Canada, spanning Zurich-owned digital properties and deeply embedded partner purchase flows.
  • Understand, challenge, and interpret business strategy for both direct-to-consumer channels and key partners, translating commercial objectives, constraints, and partner dynamics into experimentation and growth agendas.
  • Serve as the central conductor of experimentation, orchestrating inputs from product, data science, UX, content, and analytics into a single prioritized optimization roadmap.
  • Define what gets tested, where, and in what sequence, focusing experimentation effort on the highest-value strategic opportunities rather than isolated test wins.
  • Lead through influence rather than direct authority, pushing and aligning cross-functional teams to deliver against shared optimization priorities.
  • Translate analytical insight and test outcomes into clear decisions, direction, and narrative, converting learning into sustained commercial value.
  • Drive test ideation, experimentation design, and delivery at scale, balancing speed, rigor, regulatory requirements, partner constraints, and customer experience.
  • Own optimization performance narratives end-to-end, from strategic rationale and experiment design through executive-level reporting and recommendations.
  • Articulate optimization strategy, tradeoffs, outcomes, and next steps persuasively in senior executive and partner forums.
  • Ensure all optimization activity complies with legal, compliance, brand, accessibility, and partner requirements.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of relevant experience in digital, growth, optimization, experimentation, or related disciplines, including senior program leadership experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand business and partner strategy and translate it into experimentation priorities, hypotheses, and long-term learning agendas.
  • Proven success influencing and mobilizing cross-functional teams without direct line management responsibility.
  • Deep experience with test-and-learn methodologies, experimental design, A/B and multivariate testing, and optimization programs at scale.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to connect experimentation outcomes to broader business and partner performance.
  • Excellent executive communication skills, including the ability to clearly explain complex analytical and strategic concepts to very senior, non-technical audiences.
  • Strong understanding of UX/UI and conversion optimization principles within purchase flows and e-commerce environments.
  • Experience operating in global, multi-stakeholder environments across time zones.
  • High degree of integrity and a strong risk-management mindset, with a clear focus on protecting customer trust.
  • Experience with Adobe Analytics, Adobe Experience Manager, or similar platforms preferred.

Benefits

  • Hybrid work model: 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home after an initial training period.
  • Comprehensive onboarding experience and continuous professional development opportunities.
  • Regular annual and personal leave benefits, including anniversary leave, volunteer leave, and a comprehensive paid parental leave scheme.
  • Competitive medical insurance package and pension contributions.
  • Diversity and inclusion initiatives that respect and embrace individuality.

Pay

The proposed salary range for this position is $83,300.00 - $88,000.00 with short-term incentive bonus eligibility set at 10%. Compensation is influenced by factors such as location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
