About the role
The Growth & Development Team Assistant plays a key role in supporting the team behind Upstream Rehabilitation's expansion and growth initiatives. This position provides hands-on exposure to development operations and supports the coordination of permitting activities, reporting, and project management.Responsibilities
- Track permits for development and expansion projects using established tools and systems.
- Gather and organize required documentation for permit submissions, working closely with senior team members.
- Maintain accurate records of permit statuses through municipal portals and escalate delays when necessary.
- Capture and distribute meeting notes, follow-ups, and action items for the Growth and Development team.
- Support recurring meetings related to development projects, site selection, and permitting updates.
- Maintain and update reports on development pipeline status, permitting progress, and project milestones.
- Ensure trackers, dashboards, and spreadsheets remain accurate and up-to-date.
- Compile data into basic summaries or presentations to support team decision-making.
- Keep digital project files organized and accessible.
- Provide general administrative support and contribute to special projects, as needed.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- 0-2 years of experience in an administrative, coordination, or support role (internship or relevant academic experience considered).
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Reliable and able to follow processes, manage routine responsibilities, and meet deadlines.
