About the role
The Child Care Group Supervisor leads the daily operation of an assigned classroom and creates a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment for children.
Responsibilities
- Plan activities aligned with early learning standards
- Supervise and develop classroom staff
- Monitor children's development
- Maintain required program records
- Communicate regularly with families
- Ensure compliance with YMCA policies, Pennsylvania childcare regulations, licensing requirements, and staff-to-child ratios
Pay
Employees who work both before and after school shifts receive an additional $3 per hour.
