GROUP SUPERVISOR

About the role

Rite of Passage Team is hiring for a Group Supervisor at South Florida Youth Academy in Miami, Florida.

Responsibilities

• Provide safety and around-the-clock supervision for the youth in our program
• Create a supportive atmosphere for the students' needs
• Ensure staff and students adhere to the facility and daily schedule
• Maintain the proper staff to student ratio for coverage according to licensing standards
• Operate assigned shifts effectively and efficiently

Requirements

• At least 21 years of age
• High school diploma
• Internal applicants must possess 1-year Direct Care experience
• Completed Initial Qualifications (Tech 22) Training and Operations, Treatment, and Human Resources Essential Subjects before placement in this position

Qualifications

• Passionate about improving the lives of youth
• Experience working with at-risk populations
• Ability to maintain a positive and supportive environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Skills

• Effective supervision and management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of evidence-based practices and positive skill development
