About the role

The Child Care Group Supervisor leads the daily operation of an assigned classroom and creates a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment for children.

Responsibilities

• Plan activities aligned with early learning standards
• Supervise and develop classroom staff
• Monitor children's development
• Maintain required program records
• Communicate regularly with families
• Ensure compliance with YMCA policies, Pennsylvania childcare regulations, licensing requirements, and staff-to-child ratios
