About the role
Assist the day-to-day operations of the Out-of-School-Time (OST) Program. Program components include project-based learning, homework assistance, enrichment activities such as visual arts, music, performing arts, and nutritional services.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education, or human services field and 1 year of experience with children.
- OR Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, including 30 credit hours in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education, or human services and 1 year of experience with children.
- OR Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university, including 30 credit hours in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education, or the human services field and 3 years of experience with school-aged children.
- Knowledge of the Latino and African American community and the resources available.
- Knowledge of the Philadelphia School System and curriculum standards for children Kindergarten through 12th grade.
- Bilingual/bicultural (Spanish/English) preferred.
