Group Sales Manager Association
About the Role
As the Group Sales Manager - Association, you will focus on securing group business from association markets through proactive outreach, relationship building, and tailored sales strategies. You’ll manage the full sales cycle—from prospecting to contract execution—while collaborating with internal members to ensure flawless group experiences. This position reports to the Director of Sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Build excellent relationships with local, state, and national association clients, third parties, and community organizations in order to generate business for the hotel
- Prospect for new business, respond to incoming RFPs and inquiries, execute contracts, and communicate client expectations to the hotel member
Education & Experience
- College degree or two years of hotel experience
- Previous experience in a similar or related position
- Hotel experience is a plus
- Additional consideration will be given to applicants who have completed special certifications
Requirements
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel, and lift as required—with or without reasonable accommodations
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays if needed
