Requested Tasks
- Partner with current and prospective customers
- Keep a thorough knowledge of market and industry trends
- Analyze client base or target market trends
- Devise new ways to expand client base
- Reach out to organizations and businesses for hotel rooms/blocks
- Identify key contacts at potential new clients
- Close sales with professionalism and attention to detail
- Negotiate terms and contracts with a rigorous eye for detail
- Represent the property at relevant trade associations
- Stay attuned to client needs through professional, detailed, and thoughtful communication
- Understand property offerings and capabilities
- Ensure guests enjoy their stay and meet group needs
- Collaborate with property leadership on upcoming events
- Adhere to Makeready's Guiding Principles
Requested Capabilities
- Prior Group Sales experience preferred
- Prior hotel/conference center experience preferred
- Personable, professional, and approachable personality
- Excellent organizational skills; keen eye for detail
- Travel required; must be able to travel independently
- Must adhere to Makeready Travel Policies and Procedures
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must adhere to Makeready & property policies and procedures
