About the role
The Group Product Manager for Concrete Products will manage the short- and long-term P&L of the product line, increase the working capital turns of the portfolio, expand the business with new products and lead cross-functional teams through the New Product Development Process.
Responsibilities
- Develops category’s product strategies to meet or exceed the company’s overall strategy and goals.
- Identifies the necessary projects to execute the strategy for product lines within their responsibility.
- Partners with the international teams to identify high impact opportunities to drive growth globally.
- Partners with the international and external teams to identify high impact opportunities to drive POWERSHIFT Product Line growth globally.
- Understand market trends to ensure product strategy aligns with the needs of the customer.
- Develop and execute product roadmap.
- Track, forecast, and present new product financial performance monthly.
- Lead development of product roadmaps based on product strategies, NPD program financials, and channel strategies.
- Work with Engineering and Supply Chain (Operations) to ensure the roadmap can be executed based on resources and capacity.
- Conduct regular VOC visits to have a deep understanding of target market segments, end user needs, and pain points for the product portfolio.
- Lead development of new products through end-user focused market requirements, aligned business case with channel/region teams, design trade-off management, succinct end user messaging, and price positioning for optimal profitability.
- Validate Product CTQs, Testing & Claims with End Users.
- Communicate product differentiation, positioning, and value proposition to external audiences to win or retain business.
- Execute plans to deliver productivity in the category to ensure competitiveness without sacrificing customer valued product features.
- Ensure processes are followed to successfully develop new products and deliver on time to commitment dates.
- Develop brand and product positioning strategy by product line, including target financial profitability objectives.
- Manage, develop, and mentor a team of Product Managers to achieve the business goals.
Requirements
- BS or BA in Marketing, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or related field.
- 7+ years of Product Management experience.
- 3+ years of management experience.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple assignments and projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- Experience working in a matrix environment.
- Strong project management skills.
- Domestic/International travel required (15%).

- Consumer products experience.
- Experience working directly with retailers or other large customers.
- Experience working for a large global company.
- Experience working in a matrixed reporting structure.
- Experience conducting primary consumer research.

Pay
The Salary range for this position is $95,600.00 - $153,900.00. This is the lowest to highest annual full-time salary range we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. The salary offered within the range may vary depending on multiple factors including job level, geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience and in compliance with local wage requirements.
