About the role
The primary focus of this role is to lead and mentor a team of IT product managers, ensuring they grow professionally and perform at their best. You will set clear objectives and expectations, provide necessary resources and tools, conduct regular performance evaluations, and collaborate with the product leadership team to shape the product strategy and roadmap.
Responsibilities
- Mentor and guide a team of IT product managers, fostering their professional growth and performance.
- Define and prioritize product features and improvements based on business goals, user research, and data.
- Evaluate product performance and gather feedback to inform future decisions.
- Ensure adherence to best practices, agile methodologies, and quality standards in the product development process.
- Coordinate with engineering, design, marketing, and other relevant teams to streamline product development, launch, and post-launch support.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to understand their needs, gather feedback, and communicate product plans and updates effectively.
- Manage project progress, identify potential roadblocks, and take corrective actions to keep projects on track.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to evaluate product success and identify areas for improvement.
- Analyze product performance data and user feedback to drive data-driven decisions for product enhancements and future iterations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Product Manager or in a similar leadership role within the IT industry.
- Proficiency in various desktop tools including MS Office Programs (e.g., Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, SharePoint).
- Experience leading a team of product managers, product owners, or business analysts to build innovative digital products.
- Proven track record of working with UX designers to create user-focused experiences.
- Breadth and depth of technical or functional expertise in own area of responsibility or department.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, leveraging data to inform decision-making.
- Business acumen and the ability to align product strategies with organizational goals.
- Familiarity with technology trends and the ability to anticipate market needs and opportunities.
- Experience with project management tools and product management software.
- Strong understanding of software development processes and methodologies, particularly agile practices.

Pay
Competitive wages starting in the range of $120,730.00 - $187,130.00 USD annually for full-time employees.
