Group Leader, Manufacturing (3rd Shift)

Responsibilities

• Assists in coordinating all aspects of department operations to include schedule changes, quality issues and distribution of resources and break schedules.
• Reviews device history records and other production documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Affords assistance in ensuring that all employees are following safety, cGMP and department policies and procedures.
• Communicates issues or non-compliance to supervisor when necessary.
• Effectively communicates to Supervisor with feedback on personnel, equipment schedule/component problems or safety issues as well as on short-term goals/ priorities.
• Handles employee training questions, conflicts and concerns. Consults Supervisor when necessary.
• Interfaces with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Warehouse, Facilities, and other production departments to assist in resolving various operational issues and to maximize employee output.
• Sets up, operates, maintains, and troubleshoots equipment to minimize defects or errors.
• Affords assistance in preparing work orders and change controls as needed to maintain proper working conditions.
• Affords assistance in training employees on departmental procedures, set-up and operation of equipment and troubleshooting techniques.
• Affords assistance in executing training plans for new and current hires to allow for practical systematic advancement in necessary skills.

Requirements

• A High School Diploma / GED Certificate
• Electro-mechanical assembly and test experience preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership, interpersonal skills and professionalism.
• Excellent communication and training skills; basic mechanical aptitude.
• Proven sound judgment, values driven, continuous innovation and improvement and adaptability skills.
• Demonstrated high performance orientation and detail orientation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good organization and teamwork skills, including strong customer focus.
