About This Role
New Morning Schools, LLC in Dunbarton, NH is seeking a qualified Group Leader, Dunbarton School Age Program to work with School Age (5–12) in an after-school/ost environment. This position requires no formal credential — just relevant experience.
We strive to provide consistent, high-quality childcare to families in Southern New Hampshire! Your time at the before and after school programs will require energy, patience and a spirit of cooperation. The children are either at the beginning or end of their day and caring staff can make all the difference to a child during those important before and after school hours. Your goal each day should be to check in with each child, even if it's just to say hello. Children look up to our Team Members as role models and we want you to make a difference!
The off-site School Age Program is located in the Dunbarton Elementary School and operates from 1:30-6:00pm Monday - Friday. We are always accepting applications for this role.
What You'll Do
- Helping to maintain a safe environment for children and staff
- Encouraging positive behavior guidance
- Greeting parents and children daily
- Helping to train new staff members as needed
- Attending monthly staff meetings at your program and the NMS main office
- Following the day-to-day staff assignments
- Communicating with the office when needed
- Being a substitute for staff at another location if needed
Requirements
- 600+ hours of experience or 3+ EDU/ECE college credits
- At least 17 years of age
Nice to Have
- 1-2+ years of experience working with school age children
- CPR/First Aid Certifications
