About the role

The Group Home Coordinator/Supervisor is responsible for the management and support of our residential group home program. They ensure a high quality of life for individuals in residence and support their person-centered needs. This role also involves recruiting, hiring, coaching, training, and supervising Direct Support Professionals (DSP), and ensuring compliance with licensing and survey requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Implement RISE mission, vision, and values in managing the group home program
  • Recruit, hire, coach, train, and supervise DSPs
  • Manage and maintain company and program records
  • Accurately complete and maintain payroll and billing documentation within designated time frames
  • Ensure programs meet licensing/survey requirements and contractual compliance
  • Demonstrate competency in financial and budgetary issues
  • Support individuals with daily living, accessing the community, medication, and medical issues
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment and ensure support provided meets expectations of policies and procedures
  • Comply with all AZ Department of Economic Security. Division of Developmental Disabilities and other relevant licensing requirements
  • Ensure compliance with all RISE and AZ State DDD regulations and policies

Qualifications

  • A desire, interest, and experience in working with people with disabilities or special needs
  • A High School Diploma or GED
  • At least two (2) years of work and supervisory experience with an organization or agency providing home care support services
  • Experience providing person-centred philosophy for people with developmental and physical disabilities in a long-term setting
  • Dedication to quality support for individuals, self-motivation, honesty, dependability, and flexibility
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Superb organization skills and strong attention to details
  • Ability to work flexible hours and be on call
  • Valid Arizona driver’s license, minimum of twenty-one years of age, and meet driver requirements as specified by RISE Insurance Agency
  • Ability to complete a successful background check, driving record check, and obtain a Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card
