About the role

The successful candidate must be capable of answering questions and concerns of participants, soliciting feedback about the class, being dependable and consistent in class schedule starting and ending times, and maintaining a positive and professional attitude toward members while promoting the gym and Group Fitness classes.

Essential Purpose: Engage and "wow" our members in every class by creating a sense of community with a fun, results-focused group workout where everyone feels successful.

Responsibilities

• Lead engaging, high-energy group fitness classes
• Maintain Group Fitness Studio cleanliness
• Provide excellent customer service to members
• Assist with building and equipment maintenance and safety
• Pursue continuing education opportunities
• Ensure timeliness, member satisfaction, and class size goals
• Prioritize safety and report incidents/injuries promptly

Requirements

• Nationally accredited Group Fitness Certification (required)
• Valid CPR/AED Certification (required)
• Takes ownership of results and fights hard to win
• Adapts well and quickly to various situations
• Communicates effectively with members and teammates using a customer service mentality
• Team player willing to jump into any task
• Extremely organized and dependable
• Energetic and serves as a great fitness role model and motivator
• Good musicality (stays on beat for applicable classes)
• Clear communicator with strong cueing skills

Pay

Hourly pay range: $15—$35 USD
