About the role

The successful candidate must be capable of answering questions and concerns of participants, soliciting feedback about the class, being dependable and consistent in class schedule starting and ending times, and maintaining a positive and professional attitude toward members while promoting the gym and Group Fitness classes.

Essential Purpose: Engage and "wow" our members in every class by creating a sense of community with a fun, results-focused group workout where everyone feels successful.

Responsibilities

• Lead engaging and motivating group fitness classes
• Maintain Group Fitness Studio cleanliness
• Provide excellent customer service
• Ensure building and equipment maintenance and safety
• Pursue continuing education
• Adhere to accountabilities: timeliness, member satisfaction, class size, and safety/reporting of incidents/injuries

Requirements

• Takes ownership of results
• Adapts well and quickly to various situations
• Communicates effectively with members and teammates with a customer service mentality
• Team player willing to jump into any task and get it done
• Extremely organized
• Energetic and a great fitness role model/motivator
• Good musicality (stays on the beat—applicable to most classes)
• Clear communicator (cues well)
• Dependable

Required Certifications:

• Nationally accredited Group Fitness Certification
• Valid CPR/AED Certification

Pay

Hourly pay range: $15—$35 USD
