About the role
This role involves facilitating group sessions aimed at aiding individuals in recovery from addiction. The primary focus is on providing support and guidance through therapeutic group settings.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate group sessions that promote healing and recovery
- Provide emotional support and guidance to participants
- Adapt to individual needs and tailor sessions accordingly
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field
- At least 2 years of experience in substance abuse counseling or related field
- Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle for travel
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience working with diverse populations
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices in addiction treatment
- Passion for helping others recover
Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

Pay
$X per hour, depending on experience
Schedule
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with occasional evening and weekend shifts
