Group Class Instructor (substitute)

About the role
Love leading group fitness classes and inspiring others to move? This flexible substitute instructor role offers the opportunity to teach on an as-needed basis at our community fitness center in Westlake, TX, stepping in when regular instructors are unavailable and helping create a positive, energetic experience for participants.
Responsibilities
- Provide fun, effective, and safe group exercise classes to members, including dance, kickboxing, step, boot camp, and circuit.
Requirements
- Current group exercise instructor certification from ACE, AFAA/NASM, ACSM, NETA, NCCPT, or other NCCA nationally accredited specialty class certification.
- Adult CPR/AED and First Aid certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or American Safety & Health Institute (required prior to start date).
- 2+ years of group exercise instruction experience (strongly preferred).
- Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems.
Pay
The compensation range for this role is $45–$50 per class. The final wage offer will be determined based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, skill set, and other relevant considerations.
