About the role
The Groundskeeper (Pool) is responsible for maintaining the grounds and facilities at Rio Hondo Independent School District, including the pool area.
Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of all school grounds and facilities, including the pool area.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, and watering.
- Ensure proper operation and cleanliness of the pool equipment and facilities.
- Respond to emergencies and perform necessary repairs as needed.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Experience in groundskeeping or similar field preferred.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of landscaping and pool maintenance practices.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Skills
- Proficient in using lawn mowers, trimmers, and other maintenance equipment.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Strong attention to detail.

Pay

Schedule
Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM.
