Groundskeeper I - Hospitality

About the role

The Maintenance Groundskeeper’s job is to cultivate and care for the landscaping and grounds of the property. The Groundskeeper plants, mows, pulls weeds, repairs structures, and maintains the outsides of buildings as needed. They also help with guest requests and maintenance coverage as needed.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, replace, and repair irrigation systems
• Service outdoor lighting elements including timers and photocells
• Maintain fencing
• Mulch and maintain various ground coverings
• Trim trees and shrubs

• Ability to install, service, replace, and repair irrigation systems, outdoor lighting elements, fencing, mulch, and various ground coverings

• Able to handle hand and power tools

• Must be able to operate a golf cart
• Must be able to operate a riding lawn mower and other landscaping machinery
