Groundskeeper I - Hospitality

Full-time position at Costanoa Resort in Pescadero, CA. Reports to the Chief Engineer, Landscaping Supervisor.

About the role

The Landscaper cultivates and cares for the landscaping and grounds of the property. Responsibilities include planting, mowing, pulling weeds, repairing structures, and maintaining the outsides of buildings.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, replace, and repair irrigation systems
• Maintain outdoor lighting elements including timers and photocells
• Install and repair fencing
• Apply mulch and various ground coverings
• Clean firepits and BBQ grills, reset site furniture
• Trim trees and shrubs
• Care for small farm animals
• Operate a golf cart, riding lawn mower, and other landscaping machinery safely

Requirements

• Dependable, punctual, with an impeccable attendance record
• Ability to handle hand tools, power tools, and power equipment
• Strong attention to detail and service-oriented mindset
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Professional demeanor and positive attitude
• Able to work on feet for extended periods
• Flexible work schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
