Groundskeeper - Full-time

Job Summary

Cross Keys Village - The Brethren Home Community (CKV) is seeking a Groundskeeper to join their team. This full-time day shift position works Monday - Friday from 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

About the Role

As a Groundskeeper, you will be responsible for:

• Landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, weeding, edging, mulch installation, pruning, leaf collection, etc.
• Snow and ice removal, garbage and recycling collection, and landscape installations/renovations.
• Maintenance of grounds vehicles and equipment, including oil changes, greasing of parts, sharpening blades, and minor repairs.
• Ensuring good customer relations and maintaining a high department image through personal contact and adherence to quality standards.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent, or 1-2 years of relevant experience required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• A valid driver’s license is strongly preferred.
• Ability to read work-related material and follow directions.
• Pennsylvania applicator certification in category 6 and/or 7 is preferred.
