What You'll Do Follow direction of the Grounds Supervisor and Chief Engineer for the purpose of maintaining all of Delta's grounds. Work with mowers, weed eater, chainsaws, blowers and hand tools as needed. Assist when needed in moving furniture, demolition and other request as needed for buildings and grounds, Daily cleanup of any debris, trash or limbs around property and repair grounds and reseed when needed. Core Work Activities Mowing and trimming of groundsMow grounds on a weekly basis Weed eating, trimming and brush removalDaily cleaning all walkways and decks of debris using leaf blower and brooms removing grass and debrisLeaf cleanupWorking to cleanup trees and cut wood for fireplacesCut up trees and limbs using chainsaws, wood splitting machine and hand mallsHaul and stack wood in storage areas and distribute to buildings for fireplacesAssist with some degree of building maintenanceDigging trenches for the purpose of assisting to bury pipe, wiring and making repairs,Moving of furniture when needed to assist when rooms and building are being remodeledAssist in working with guest servicesLuggage Service Snow removal from walkways and roads, sanding and de-icingSetting and lighting of fireplaces in meeting rooms Candidate Profile Experience on commercial equipment such as mowers and other power equipment for the purpose of grounds work and building clean up. Must be able to work weekends and nights if required due to weather conditions. Must have a valid driver’s license
