About the role

We are seeking a Groundskeeper to help maintain the property curb appeal. The ideal candidate enjoys working outdoors, has an eye for detail, enjoys working with people, and has a passion for customer service. This position provides a great opportunity to learn and promote into a Maintenance Technician role. Under the supervision and direction of the Community Manager, this position is responsible for ensuring the overall physical aspects of the community meet the established standards for safety, appearance, and grounds. The job is located in Columbia, SC.

Responsibilities

• Work with landscapers to maintain the flower beds, plants, and grass
• Pick up trash
• Remove snow (as applicable)
• Inspect buildings and grounds for safety and cleanliness
• Complete exterior work orders
• Assist maintenance team with make‑ready tasks

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• English language proficiency (read, speak, and write)
• Ability to pass a full background check

Pay

The pay rate is based on experience and ranges from $17.00 to $19.00 per hour.

Schedule

Work schedule is Monday‑Friday. A valid driver’s license and personal vehicle are required. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of the background check.
