Overview of Position

• mowing
• weeding
• trimming
• planting
• trash removal
• mulching
• snow removal

Campus Support Duties

• set-up for campus events
• delivery of supplies and equipment
• moving furniture

Groundskeepers work primarily outside, in all seasons and weather. As essential personnel, work may be required occasionally on weekends and when the University is closed due to inclement weather.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License and good driving record required.
• Heavy physical labor is involved, so must be able to lift and carry at least 50 lbs.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
• Must pass a background check.
