Groundskeeper

About the role

Weinstein Properties is seeking a Groundskeeper to join our team. Located in Bexley at Brier Creek in Raleigh, NC, this position offers competitive hourly rates starting at $16/hour, with the potential for quarterly bonuses.

Responsibilities

• Keep grounds clean, tidy, and attractive
• Pick up trash and debris
• Clean pet waste stations
• Trash out apartments
• Perform other potentially unpleasant but necessary duties
• Complete daily, recurring tasks like picking up litter and pet waste
• Support maintenance and leasing teams as needed

Requirements

• Reliable, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and takes pride in work
• Independent and proactive, willing to take on various responsibilities
• Strong work ethic, able to handle dirty or repetitive jobs
• Team player, communicates and collaborates with maintenance and leasing teams

Qualifications

• Physical ability to perform tasks requiring prolonged standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, and operating equipment
• Ability to work in various weather conditions including heat, cold, rain, and humidity
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills

Pay

Hourly rates are competitive (starting at $16/hour) + Quarterly Bonuses. Currently eligible for a $1000 stay on bonus after 90 days and in good standing.

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm

• Repetition is part of the job: Many tasks (like picking up litter and pet waste) are daily, recurring responsibilities.

• This is a physically demanding role: Requires prolonged periods of standing and walking while performing tasks, frequently lifting and carrying items weighing up to 50 pounds or more, using hand tools and operating equipment (including backpack blowers, power washers), operating golf carts/trailers, frequently bending and stooping for planting, weeding and maintenance of outdoor spaces, and working in conditions with loud noise levels at times.
