Groundskeeper

About the role

We’re looking for a talented Groundskeeper to join our team and maintain the landscaping and outdoor areas of multiple company properties, ensuring all grounds are well-maintained, safe, and attractive to visitors and employees. This role involves collaborating with property managers and the Grounds Team to develop and execute landscaping plans tailored to each property.

Responsibilities

• Maintain landscaping and outdoor areas, including mowing, trimming, planting, and irrigation.
• Provide preventative maintenance and repairs to pools, hot tubs, fountains, and other water features.
• Keep flower beds well-maintained by planting flowers, managing irrigation, and removing weeds.
• Ensure all outdoor areas are clean, free of debris, and safe, including walkways, driveways, and parking areas.
• Operate and maintain landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, chainsaws, and other power tools.
• Identify and report landscaping and grounds maintenance issues.
• Remove loose trash and waste from the grounds at all company properties.
• Assist with snow removal and ice control during winter months.
• Assist with moving furniture or other items at or between properties.
• Help with minor construction tasks as needed.
• Trim trees as required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent and at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and stand or walk for long periods.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and report maintenance issues.
• Experience with landscaping, irrigation, or pool maintenance is desired.
