Groundskeeper
About the role
Stoa Group is a full-time groundskeeper to join our team in Flowood, MS. Responsibilities
- Property walks to maintain a well-kept and manicured curb appeal
- Work independently to pick up trash on the property and in common areas, including driveways, parking lots, curbs, trash receptacle areas, exterior hallways, breezeways, mailrooms, and other public areas
- Aid with light cleaning and repairs prior to new resident move-ins and model units
- Update the Service Manager with work status and communicate any potential liabilities
- Ensure adequate inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment. Notify supervisor when supplies are needed
- Assist office staff, as needed, with posting notices on resident doors
- Ensure that policies and procedures, as well as safety and compliance expectations, are met
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to include weekends, evenings and holidays
Requirements
- Excellent attention to detail
- Previous grounds, general cleaning, janitorial and labor experience preferred
Qualifications
- Attention to detail and commitment to our customers. Our residents will take notice and appreciate your detail on a daily basis
- Customer service oriented
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills
- Strong ability to work independently and with a team
- Strong adherence to ethical standards, including but not limited to the ability to maintain confidentiality
