Groundskeeper

Long Prairie Packing, an American Foods Group Company, has an opportunity for a Groundskeeper at our Long Prairie, MN plant.

Responsibilities

• Perform general lawn care including mowing grass, spraying weeds, and picking up trash.
• Move and store equipment in warehouses and other areas on the property.
• General housekeeping duties such as cleanup of warehouses and other storage areas, sweeping, and organizing warehouse items.
• Complete any other miscellaneous tasks assigned by the maintenance supervisor.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must be able to work in a variety of temperatures (warm, hot, humid, cold, wet) and on slippery surfaces at varied heights, in and around moving equipment and parts, with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Must be able to perform job duties with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Must successfully complete training in the following areas:
  • Safety
  • Safe Quality Food (SQF)
  • Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
  • Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP)
  • Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Food defense

Schedule

• Start times and hours vary; flexible schedules available.
• 15-40 hours weekly.

Pay

Base hourly range of $19.35 - $21.85 per hour.
