About the role
The Groundskeeper at Princeton Day School is responsible for maintaining multiple sites across the campus and surrounding housing. Duties include cutting lawns and fields, operating landscaping equipment, caring for and removing ornamental plants and trees, sports field painting and care, landscape maintenance, and pool care.Responsibilities

Requirements
- 1-2 years of landscaping/grounds experience required
- Landscaping equipment operation experience/skills
- A valid driver's license (insurable under the School's auto policy)
- The ability to regularly lift up to 75 pounds and carry boxes up stairs
- Moderate computer skills
- A pesticide operator's license or able to earn within one year of employment
- Experience and comfort with ladder work and aerial lift work
- "MEWP" Mobile Elevating Work Platform certification or ability to obtain one within 6 months of employment
- A high school diploma
- Excellent customer service skills
- An attention to detail
- A high degree of professionalism

Skills
- Ability to operate landscaping equipment
- Knowledge of pesticide operations
- Experience with ladder and aerial lift work

- $20.00 an hour / $41,600 a year

Schedule
- Typical work schedule: Monday through Friday from 6am to 2:30pm
- Some required weekends
- Off hours work for ice and snow removal based on weather and the needs of PDS
