Groundskeeper

About the role

Take pride in outdoor work and making a place look great? Join Morgan Properties as a Groundskeeper and help keep Westpointe Apartments in Pittsburgh, PA clean, safe, and welcoming for our residents. No experience required, just a strong work ethic and a good attitude.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning parking lots, driveways, curbs, dumpster areas, and exterior hallways
• Maintaining flowerbeds, shrubs, trees, and grass, including planting, pruning, watering, and raking leaves
• Shoveling snow, spreading salt, and keeping walkways safe in winter weather
• Keeping the pool area, laundry room, and fitness center clean
• Making minor repairs and touch-ups to fences, gates, and walkways
• Helping inspect the property and reporting any safety concerns or incidents
• Helping out at other nearby communities when needed

Pay

Base pay: $18.00–$20.00 per hour

If you are hired, your overall compensation package will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience, which may result in total compensation outside of this range.

Schedule

Monday–Friday: 9 AM to 4 PM

Availability on short notice for snow, ice, and other site emergencies

Requirements

• No formal education or prior experience required; training provided
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable, punctual, and attentive to detail
• Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds
• Comfortable working outdoors in all kinds of weather
