Groundskeeper

Requirements

• Minimum 1 full year of experience
• Knowledge of lawn, soil, tree, and bush maintenance
• Ability to work outdoors in environmental conditions for extended periods
• Ability to operate power equipment, including a bucket loader
• Ability to work independently and be self-motivated
• Valid driver’s license

About the role

Perform all groundskeeping duties such as mowing, mulching, flower beds, leaf removal, trimming of small trees and bushes, and snow removal. Conduct small repairs to walks and parking lots. May be required to apply pesticides. Responsible for cleaning and performing minor adjustments to grounds equipment. Assist with miscellaneous small jobs during the off-season, such as painting and other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
