Groundskeeper
About the Role
The Groundskeeper is responsible for maintaining the overall cleanliness, appearance, and curb appeal of the community by inspecting and caring for common areas, amenities, grounds, model apartments, vacant units, and public spaces. Performs routine landscaping, pool maintenance (outsourced but as needed), exterior upkeep, cleaning, snow removal (where applicable), and market-ready apartment preparation while operating and maintaining grounds equipment.
This individual will assist with maintenance projects, signage installation/removal, resident communications, inventory management, and maintaining organized work areas. Identifies and reports maintenance or landscaping concerns, collaborates with community staff to uphold property standards, and represents the company in a professional manner while helping provide a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents and visitors.
Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and appearance of common areas, amenities, grounds, model apartments, vacant units, and public spaces
- Perform routine landscaping and exterior upkeep
- Assist with pool maintenance (primarily outsourced)
- Handle snow removal where applicable
- Prepare apartments for market readiness
- Operate and maintain grounds equipment
- Assist with maintenance projects and signage installation/removal
- Manage resident communications and inventory
- Maintain organized work areas
- Identify and report maintenance or landscaping concerns
- Collaborate with community staff to uphold property standards
Requirements
- 1-2 years of groundskeeping experience is required
