Groundskeeper
What You’ll Do
- Play a crucial role in maintaining the appearance and physical condition of the community.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and visually appealing environment for residents.
- Perform tasks including picking up litter, sweeping, blowing, or pressure-washing breezeways, parking lots, and other shared spaces.
- Care for plants, shrubs, and flowers by watering and ensuring their healthy appearance.
- Absorb responsibility for swimming pool cleaning and maintenance to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Support unit turnover processes, including trashing out vacant units and collaborating with vendors to maintain quality standards.
- Provide friendly and professional service to current, future, and past residents, including delivering and posting newsletters and correspondence.
- Inspect the property daily to identify and address hazardous conditions or liability concerns.
- Use property resources, equipment, and supplies efficiently and safely.
- Assist with light maintenance duties as needed.

What You’ll Own
Keep all interior and exterior areas clean, safe, and presentable at all times, including buildings, common areas, amenities, and grounds.
What You’ll Bring
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic English communication skills to follow instructions and interact with residents and team members.
- Basic computer skills for completing work orders or other property tasks.
- Previous experience in groundskeeping, general maintenance, or housekeeping is preferred but not required.
- The ability to frequently walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and lift/move loads up to 50 lbs, as well as climb and work from ladders.
- To live within 30 miles of the property and have reliable transportation to participate in on-call duties.
