About the role
Brookside Properties is hiring a Groundskeeper for Hudson on the Greenway in Knoxville, TN.
Responsibilities
- Keep the community grounds clean, attractive, and well maintained
- Pick up trash and debris throughout the property
- Maintain sidewalks, parking lots, landscaping, and common areas
- Auxiliary tasks such as preparing vacant apartments for new residents
- Perform light maintenance and porter duties as needed
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas
- Follow OSHA, EPA, and Fair Housing guidelines
Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Previous groundskeeping, porter, landscaping, janitorial, or maintenance experience is a plus
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to walk the property throughout the day, climb stairs and ladders, and lift up to 25 pounds regularly (heavier lifting occasionally with assistance)
- Dependable, self-motivated, and team-oriented
