Groundskeeper

About the role

This is a temporary role (through August, with potential for permanent placement) at Emerson at Harding in Nashville, TN, designed for someone who is dependable, eager to learn, and ready to take the next step in their career.

Responsibilities

- Maintain the overall appearance and cleanliness of the community grounds. - Assist with building upkeep, amenities, and common areas. - Complete make-readies, punch items, and assist in preparing apartment homes for new residents. - Support the maintenance team with light repairs and tasks as needed. - Ensure timely and courteous service to residents and team members. - Maintain tools, equipment, and organized work areas. - Follow OSHA, EPA, and Fair Housing guidelines at all times.

Qualifications

- Must be at least 18 years old with some related experience and/or training. - Willingness to learn maintenance skills and grow within the company. - Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. - Ability to walk the property regularly and climb stairs/ladders as needed. - Ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 100 pounds. - Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
