Groundskeeper

About the role

Beztak, a national Real Estate Development, Construction, and Property Management company, seeks a Part time Groundskeeper to join their team. The position is responsible for maintaining the physical condition of common areas and grounds, assisting the service team, and installing plant material.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the physical condition of common areas and grounds to ensure a clean, debris-free, and top-quality environment
• Assist the service team with requests to ensure service requests are handled in a timely manner
• Comply with company safety policy at all times
• Operate a company vehicle or personal vehicle to perform job duties. Must be willing and able to drive for work-related purposes
• Work in a high-pressure environment, interacting with difficult customers/vendors, handling urgent matters, resolving conflicts, having effective interpersonal skills

Qualifications and Education

• A high school diploma is preferred
• Able to work flexible schedules when needed

• Excellent time management skills
• Strong initiative

Physical Demands

• Regularly reach overhead
• Be able to work in various positions, including stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling, climbing stairs, and squatting for extended periods of time
• Be able to frequently lift 50 pounds
• Periodically be confined to a vehicle
• Occasionally exposed to extreme conditions, including high heat, humidity, freezing temperatures, and heavy rain while performing outdoor tasks
• Exposure to varying weather conditions such as heat, cold, rain, and snow is common
• May occasionally be exposed to moderate to loud noise levels from tools, machinery, and equipment
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, goggles, masks, and hearing protection may be required
• Periodically work in confined spaces, heights, and areas with limited ventilation
