About the role
Beztak, a national Real Estate Development, Construction, and Property Management company, seeks a Groundskeeper to join their team. The position is responsible for maintaining the physical condition of common areas and grounds, as well as installing plant material on community grounds.
Essential Functions
- Maintain the physical condition of common areas and grounds to ensure a clean, debris-free, and top-quality environment
- Assist the service team with requests to ensure service requests are handled in a timely manner
- Comply with company safety policy at all times
- Operate a company vehicle or personal vehicle to perform job duties. Must be willing and able to drive for work-related purposes
- Work in a high-pressure environment, interacting with difficult customers/vendors, handling urgent matters, resolving conflicts, and having effective interpersonal skills

Qualifications and Education
- A high school diploma is preferred
- Able to work flexible schedules when needed

Physical Demands
- Regularly reach overhead
- Be able to work in various positions, including stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling, climbing stairs, and squatting for extended periods of time
- Be able to frequently lift, pull and push materials and equipment to complete assigned job tasks
- Be able to lift 50 pounds
- Regularly exposed to varying outdoor weather conditions
- May occasionally be exposed to extreme conditions, including high heat, humidity, freezing temperatures, and heavy rain while performing outdoor tasks
- Exposure to varying weather conditions such as dust, dirt, pollen, debris, cleaning agents, paint fumes, construction or repair-related odors and other airborne particles
- Occasional exposure to grounds maintenance chemicals such as fertilizers, herbicides, pesticides, and ice melt
- Exposure to moderate to loud noise levels from tools, machinery, and equipment
- May involve working in confined spaces, heights, and areas with limited ventilation
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, goggles, masks, and hearing protection may be required
- Periodically confined to a vehicle
