The Groundskeeper is a vital member of our community, responsible for maintaining the exterior areas of our multi-family property. Your role is pivotal in creating a clean, safe, and visually appealing environment for residents and visitors.

Outdoor Maintenance

• Maintain cleanliness of common areas, sidewalks, parking lots, and walkways by regularly removing litter and debris.
• Ensure proper disposal of trash and recycling materials in designated areas.
• Auxiliary tasks include apartment make-ready tasks such as lock changes and fixture replacements.
• Auxiliary tasks include pool maintenance.
• Irrigation and watering: Monitor and adjust irrigation systems to ensure proper watering and conservation of water resources. Report any irrigation issues or leaks to the property management team.
• Pest control and weed management: Identify and address pest and weed issues, applying appropriate treatments to prevent infestations and maintain a pest-free environment.
• Equipment and tools: Properly operate and maintain landscaping equipment, including lawnmowers, trimmers, blowers, and other tools. Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the maintenance team.
• Seasonal tasks: Perform seasonal landscaping tasks, such as leaf removal in the fall and snow removal in the winter. Assist with the setup and takedown of seasonal decorations and displays.
• Safety and compliance: Adhere to safety protocols, using appropriate personal protective equipment and following property and landscaping regulations. Inform appropriate supervisors of any observed hazard or potentially dangerous situation for residents, team members, guests and others.
• Team collaboration: Collaborate with property management, maintenance staff, and other team members to coordinate property upkeep and maintenance efforts.
