Groundskeeper

Job Description

Primary Location: Mesilla Park, New Mexico

Responsibilities

• Maintain grounds and maintenance of production and office buildings
• Aid in stocking product for employee buildings
• Provide general maintenance and cleaning of local buildings
• Moving dumpsters and unloading large trash bins from production facility
• Using corporate vehicle and taking materials to the city landfill for recycling and trash purposes
• Refilling and stocking propane tanks for facility
• Ground maintenance including lawn mowing, general gardening duties, snow removal, and cleaning of sidewalks and entryways
• Cleaning of production spills and accidents including hazardous materials
• Using forklift to move product, pallets, and dumpsters to appropriate areas
• Cleaning restrooms, wash bays, sanitation station, CO2 and Nitrogen cages and canisters, and cardboard recycling
• Assisting with moving product with forklift
• Cleaning production areas including cardboard recycling
• Backfill for other janitorial staff during absences and vacation times
• Other duties may be assigned by the immediate supervisor or other supervisor at any time

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and climbing
• Knowledge of safety procedures and equipment
• Basic computer skills
