About the role
The City of Dunn is seeking qualified applicants for Grounds Maintenance Worker positions to work within city-owned cemeteries. The position involves performing various tasks related to right-of-way maintenance and grounds maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Operate chain saw, mower, weed eater, blower, and other light equipment.
- Assist in digging and closing graves and placing markers and stones.
- Participate in shared weekend and holiday on-call duties for grave closings as needed.
Requirements
- Able to operate chain saw, mower, weed eater, blower, and other light equipment.
- Valid NC Driver's License required.
Qualifications
All candidates must possess a valid NC Driver's License and be able to drive trucks.
Skills
- Ability to operate various types of light equipment.
- Knowledge of cemetery operations and procedures.
