Grounds Maintenance Support

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour plus a $15/hour plowing differential.

About the role

Join a team of 2–4 individuals tasked with maintaining the grounds of 30 company-owned properties and growing. Duties include lawn care, irrigation, and fertilization in spring/summer, and plowing, shoveling, de-icing, and snow removal in winter. During winter months and downtime, assist with property maintenance and general repairs at gas/convenience stores, automotive repair shops, laundromats, and multi-tenant commercial properties.

Responsibilities

• Lawn care: mowing, edging, whipping, mulching, weeding, fertilizing, spring & fall cleanups, trash pickup, irrigation
• Snow-related tasks: plowing, shoveling, sidewalk cleanup, and ice removal during scheduled and non-scheduled work hours
• Operate heavy equipment (mowers, tractors, skid steer, plow trucks) or willingness to learn
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the maintenance garage and storage areas
• Communicate professionally with customers and vendors
• Ensure curb appeal of all properties meets the company’s 5-Star standards
• Follow all applicable OSHA and local safety requirements
• Additional duties as assigned

Requirements

• Clean and valid driver’s license
• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to stand for 8+ hours per shift and lift up to 60 lbs
• Willingness to work night shifts and be flexible for snow removal based on weather conditions
• Commitment to accessibility and safety for customers and employees
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Skid steer experience (preferred)
