About the Opportunity

The Grounds Maintenance Specialist maintains 29 acres of senior living property, including mowing, edging, shrub and tree trimming, and irrigation maintenance. The role performs most tasks independently with occasional assistance from outside vendors and is available to respond to maintenance emergencies that may arise outside of regular working hours.

Responsibilities

• Maintain 29 acres of senior living property.
• Mow lawns and edge walkways.
• Trim shrubs and trees.
• Perform irrigation system maintenance.
• Work independently, seeking vendor assistance only when needed.
• Respond to maintenance emergencies outside regular hours.

• Practice good safety awareness and follow safety procedures, including infection control measures where applicable.

• Set priorities and complete tasks in a timely manner.

Minimum Qualifications

• Prior experience in building maintenance.
• Knowledge of groundskeeping practices.
• Experience with irrigation systems.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and no major violations.
