Grounds Maintenance Quality Control Inspector

We are seeking a reliable and experienced individual to support our grounds maintenance contract at an IRS facility in Ogden, Utah.

About the role

This part-time position involves conducting weekly inspections of the grounds to ensure all required maintenance activities are completed in accordance with the contract requirements and established quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct weekly inspections of landscaped and maintained areas to verify that all required grounds maintenance services have been completed properly.
• Review the overall condition of the property, including lawns, landscaped areas, trees, shrubs, walkways, and other maintained grounds.
• Identify incomplete, substandard, or missed maintenance work and document any deficiencies.
• Ensure work is performed in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
• Maintain inspection records and provide clear reports regarding the condition and quality of the grounds.
• Coordinate with grounds maintenance personnel or management to address and correct identified issues.
• Follow up on corrective actions to ensure deficiencies are resolved promptly.
• Communicate any recurring issues or concerns to management.

Requirements

• Previous experience in grounds maintenance, landscaping, property inspection, or quality control preferred.
• Strong understanding of general landscaping and grounds maintenance standards.
• Ability to identify maintenance deficiencies and assess the quality of completed work.
• Good attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and conduct inspections on a weekly basis.
• Strong communication and reporting skills.
• Must be dependable and able to consistently complete scheduled weekly inspections.

Schedule

Part-time, 4-5 hours per week.
