About the role

PCSIs looking for a Grounds Maintenance at Sierra Blanca, Marfa, Alpine, and Presidio Border Patrol.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of grounds maintenance functions in a variety of skilled and semi-skilled craft trades to support assigned contract.
• Affiliate in the planning, layout and completion of modifications and repairs.
• Affiliate in the accomplishment of minor grounds maintenance tasks which must be performed to proficiency.
• Perform preventive maintenance and cleaning of grounds equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of (1) year of prior experience in grounds keeping or landscaping preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to climb, bend, squat, lift and carry objects ranging from 10-60 pounds; occasionally push objects up to 100 pounds; prolong walking up to 90%.
• Knowledge of methods used in grounds keeping, including use of all types of lawn equipment.
• Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery.
• Ability to demonstrate accuracy and speed in work performed.
• Ability to read, understand, and complete incoming work orders.
• Ability to understand and follow policies, procedures and regulations as needed.
• Ability to communicate both orally and in written format.
• Ability to work as a team member and develop effective working relationships with other staff and clients.

Benefits

• Base pay of $17.75hr depending upon experience.
