Job Requirements
- Responsible for maintaining buildings operated by PMI Entertainment Group.
- Performs minor building, HVAC, plumbing, electrical and painting repairs as necessary.
- Implements preventative maintenance measures.
- Maintains inventory of repair equipment and supplies.
- Responds quickly in the event of an emergency, notifies appropriate parties, and follows safety protocol.
- Works with outside vendors for specialized construction or maintenance tasks.
- Follows all company related safety programs, procedures, and training as well as reporting potentially unsafe procedures.
- Ensures all systems are following OSHA regulations, building and Fire and Safety Inspector approved codes.
- Maintains appropriate maintenance and inspection records.
- Fulfills energy conservation guidelines and practices energy conservation with all business practices at PMI.
- Communicates maintenance and other problem areas to the Sr. Director of Facilities & Operations.
- Performs building security functions.
- Documents all safety and security issues and reports them to supervisor.
- Maintains knowledge of current trends and new developments in the industry by reading appropriate literature and attending related seminars.
- Performs necessary tasks to maintain and upkeep the facility and existing equipment.
- Snow removal as directed by the Facilities department.
- Removes snow and ice on walkways using a shovel, snow blower and salt.
- Performs lawn care duties such as fertilizing, weed removal, grass trimming and seeding.
- Attends to landscaping duties which may include planting or pruning flowers, shrubs, and trees.
- Maintains and refuels all blowers, trucks, and lawn mowers.
- Reports maintenance needs when necessary.
- Gathers and removes yard waste and trash from facility grounds.
- Maintains and refuels the flag.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of maintenance at a level normally acquired through the completion of high school.
- About 2 to 3 years related work experience is necessary to gain a full understanding of electrical, heating, air conditioning, plumbing and boiler system repairs and maintenance.
- Analytical skills are necessary to analyze all equipment, interpret gauges, consult technical manuals, read blueprints and electrical schematics.
- Interpersonal skills are necessary to communicate with all levels of company personnel on maintenance issues.
- Proficient computer skills are necessary to communicate with outside vendors on maintenance issues.
- Full range of body motion, manual and finger dexterity to operate cleaning and lawn equipment.
- Eye-hand coordination to operate equipment such as a truck or forklift.
- Must be able to operate simple to complex and heavy-duty machinery.
- Requires vision correctable to 20/20 and hearing within normal range.
- Must be able to lift at a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Forklift certification required after hire.
