Grounds/Maintenance

Candidate will be responsible for maintaining outdoor areas, including lawns, gardens, and other landscaped spaces as well as building maintenance for properties as directed. Specific Duties Lawn Care – mowing, edging, fertilizing and wateringLandscape Maintenance – planting flowers, trees, shrubs, and other plants; weeding, mulching and pruningPest and Disease Control – applying pesticides, herbicides, and other treatments to plants and soilDebris Removal – clearing leaves, branches and other waste from the groundsSnow and Ice Removal – clearing snow and ice from walkways, parking lots and other areas during winter monthsEquipment Maintenance – maintaining and repairing landscaping equipment like mowers and trimmersBuilding Maintenance – performing routine or preventative maintenance and troubleshooting and repairing minor mechanical issuesGeneral Upkeep – sweeping walkways, emptying trash and performing minor repairs Requirements Previous experience in landscaping, gardening, or groundskeepingComfortable working outdoors in various weather conditionsMaintain a valid driver's licenseMust be able to lift 50lbs+. Full-Time, Salary commensurate with experience.
