Grounds Attendant / Landscaper

Job Summary

The Grounds Attendant at Alila Ventana Big Sur is responsible for maintaining the resort's grounds, including camping areas and colleague housing, through tasks like weeding, watering, raking, and planting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the beauty and cleanliness of the resort grounds
• Weed, water, rake, and plant throughout the hotel property
• Safely operate company vehicles, heavy machinery, and power tools
• Climb and trim trees, navigate steep and wooded areas
• Participate in forestry projects for fire safety
• Contribute to other miscellaneous property improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Ability to lift moderate to heavy weight
• Full availability from 6:30am to 2:30pm, including weekends and holidays
• Safe operation of company vehicles, heavy machinery, and power tools
• Ability to climb and navigate steep and wooded areas

Qualifications

• Enjoys working outside in all weather conditions
• Attention to detail
• Landscape experience is preferred, but not required
• English speaking is preferred, but not required

Pay

The hourly rate for this role is $23/hr.

Schedule

This position requires full availability from 6:30am to 2:30pm, including weekends and holidays.
