Grounds Attendant

About the role

The Grounds Crew is responsible for maintaining the grounds and landscaping around the lodge in the summer and clearing snow throughout the hotel property in the winter. This position offers a variety of ongoing projects and opportunities to contribute to the beauty and functionality of the property.

Responsibilities

• Snow removal of all outdoor hotel property using moderate to heavy equipment such as snow blowers, shovels, etc.
• Maintain the appearance and safety of sidewalks, driveways, or parking lots.
• Operate trucks or utility vehicles to transport equipment and supplies.
• Wash, clean, and re-fuel all equipment after use.

Qualifications

• Previous grounds keeping experience preferred
• High School Diploma or equivalent experience
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older
• Must have a clean driving record
• Flexible schedule to include mornings, nights, weekends and holidays
• Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
